Resources for Immigrant Families

Please go to this page for information about AUSD's Safe Haven Resolution, the City's Sanctuary City proclamation, and other resources about the status of immigrant families in our school district and community.

Please click on this link. The page was developed to help educators and families talk to their children about bias, bigotry, and bullying.

Welcome Back

2017-2018 Annual Back-to-School Registration

AUSD uses Back-to-School Registration every year to confirm that a student will be attending a district school in the upcoming school year. The registration also gives parent/guardians a chance to update emergency contacts, acknowledge annual authorizations, and review the district’s policies. We ask that parent/guardians complete the registration via our InfoSnap online system as soon as possible.

To get started, you will need your student’s unique 2017-18 SnapCode. We will send these out by email starting July 26. (If we don’t have a valid email, we will send the SnapCode to you via postal mail.) If you do not receive this information by August 7, please contact your student’s school site directly for assistance. The easiest way to access registration is to click the snapcode link in the email. If you receive a letter or need to log back into InfoSnap click here:

Naviance Connection

Island Families:

Family Connection by Naviance is an online software program offering students and parents access to college and career information.  Students will take career assessments, learn more about their strengths and skills, review college information, access college websites, create résumés and use many other resources to help guide them on their path towards post high school activities.  Below is a list of grade level activities for students.  They will be directed to complete these tasks at different intervals during the school year.

Students, to log into Family Connection, your username is your Google school ID, and your password is your 8-digit birthdate—mmddyyyy.

For example, if your name is John Smith, ID #12345, and your birthdate is February 14, 2001, then your username is johsmi345, and your password is 02142001..
